The Black-hooded Parakeets coming so easy left me time for one more shot at a decent Limpkin photo. I fought the St. Petersburg traffic and finally arrived at the Roosevelt Wetlands with about 30 minutes of daylight left.
I ran the last of my battery down on my Panasonic with the Parakeets, so had to depend on digigscoping if there was anything of interest. The 2nd bird I saw after getting out of the car was this Limpkin, one of at least four at this nice area in downtown St. Petersburg.
