Gray was the most-commonly encountered Seedeater of the trip. We also saw numerous Ruddy-breasted and Yellow-bellied Seedeaters.

There was a big Gray Seedeater roost in the marsh where the Velvet-fronted Grackles were roosting. There were probably in excess of 100 of these birds in a small area.
