These charismatic birds were one of my favorites of the trip, unfortunately the only good photo-ops were after my camera decided it had seen enough. So, this marginal photo, from Montana de Oro SP are the best I have.

Shortly after taking this shot, while scanning offshore, I picked up the only Pigeon Guillemot of the trip (not a bird I was expecting on this trip).
