The gorget feathers are visible here, but unfortunately not the wonderful pinkish-rose color that we saw when the bird flashed us at the right angle.
The pattern to the underparts blended nicely, lacking the distinct white forecollar typically shown by Rufous/Allen's. The lack of any 'color' to the face is also a mark against Rufous/Allen's.
