Ash-throated Flycatcher

Aqua Caliente Park; Tucson, AZ

Myiarchus flycatchers were a common sight and sound in AZ; but took a little practice to get a handle on them. Occasionally one would still leave you wondering.

I'd hope for pix of Dusky-capped, but never got any decent ones even though we had great looks at some. Ash-throateds were the most often seen, such as this bird we observed while looking for Tyrannulets at Aqua Caliente Park in Tucson.

Nikon Coolpix 4500 ,Pentax PF-80ED
