This adult Lesser Black-back is on the island out from Paris Landing, a favorite loafing spot for large gulls. Lesser Black-backs are very regular in this area. This is a very long-range shot for me, but the obvious difference in mantle colors is apparent, and even the yellow legs can be seen.
