Hammonds Flycatcher

This overwintering Hammond's Flycatcher is another real rarity for the LRGV. These birds are generally found in the Trans-Pecos region. This bird was photographed in heavy woods, with little light. The ISO was set to 400, and zoom backed way off to let enough light in to get any kind of shot. While not pretty by any means, it did allow a decent record shot to be captured.
