Unfortunately this shot wasn't crisply focused, but this male Golden-fronted is still one fine-looking Woodpecker. Our Red-bellied's up here in TN are pretty sharp, but I think I prefer the selection of colors on the Golden-fronted. This was another case of not taking enough photos of the common birds to ensure one decent one.
