First of numerous bird that were lifers for everyone else on the trip, but that I had seen on my previous (work) trip to India. New bird for the photo list! This was our first real stop of the trip, and everyone was gawking at Openbills, Pond Herons, Black and Brahminy Kites etc, that we had no idea how common they actually were of course!
