Most of the following photos are digiscopes. Never saw the Surf Scoters that were present the previous week, but this first-spring male Black Scoter was a nice bonus on top of the sheer numbers of White-winged. In addition to the developing bill knob, a good bit of black body feathers are staring to come in.
