On our first day at Fort Jeff, we only saw first-summer Roseate Terns, though the next day we saw some gorgeous full adult alternate birds. There was some confusion amongst our group regarding the ID of some of the terns we looked at, but the long streamers on this first-summer bird and thin bill are obvious, as is the primary pattern.
