Thick-billed Vireo

Bill Baggs SP (Key Biscayne) ; Miami-Dade Co

Worst image of the trip of probably the rarest bird. We were very fortunate to see this bird at all, and I was standing in a group so didn't have much choice of where to shoot from. The bird always stayed back in the 3rd or 4th layer of vegetation it seemed, though I did get some nice looks thru my binos. Terrible image in general, and terrible luck with that branch going right across the back of the eye. The broken eyering is just visible though, with the yellow lores.
