The Hornet has been Canada's front-line fighter since the mid-80's, and has seen a lot of combat in their hands. The aircraft have been upgraded substantially, and though initially basically A and B model aircraft, they are now comparable to later model C/D versions.

Note the searchlight under the front of the canopy which was special for Canadian aircraft, not found on US models.
