Luckily, this bird was calling and alerted me to its presence. It was my 5th and last lifer of the trip (3 Rosy-Finches, Rufous-backed Robin), as I just had never been out west at the right time and place to connect with one. Finally all of the NA empids!

We would also see a Gray and Hammond's here for a nice mid-winter empid day.
