Elegant Tern was my main goal at Bolsa Chica; I saw some sitting way off, but wouldn't get good looks until I got to San Diego at the end of the trip. But, Bolsa Chica was a blast for the sheer numbers and good looks at other birds, like this 3rd-cycle California Gull.
