I had been there a little while when I finally located a Sprague's. The 1st was a flyby, giving that distinctive 'squuet' call of theirs, unfortunately right into the Sun which ruined some nice flight shots.

I followed this bird as it sat down, and found it working the edge of the open area thankfully, though still a little distant for a 400mm lens.
