The following photos are from an 18-day work trip to Rio Claro, Brazil. Though we worked literally every day we were there, I was able to spend a little time at a forest preserve on the outskirts of town, where most of my birding and photography was done. I didn't take my scope, so all photos are through a 995 Coolpix with a 5X EagleEye teleconvter.

Though paltry, the 70 or so lifers was better than expected, considering the circumstances.
