The Western Wall. This is the only remains of King Solomon's second Temple and is the holiest site for Jews. Before the six day war in 1967, it was known as the Wailing Wall. Plants leak water onto the wall and it was said that the wall was wailing for the return of the Jews. After the war, when Israel captured Jerusalem from Jordan, the wall was no longer wailing, as the Jews had returned.
