Overlooking the entrance to the western wall site. This is the temple mount - the site of Solomon's temple which was destroyed the second time by the Romans. Since then, the Muslims have controlled the site and built the Dome of the Rock and a Mosque on the site where Muhammad ascended into heaven. The Western Wall is all that remains of the temple and is located on the far left side of this shot.
