Civita is the oldest sector of the city of Bagnoregio, few residents remain here now. Visitors can reach it by walking about 1 km from the belvedere of the Convento dei Minori in Bagnoregio across a modern viaduct. Roman columns, funerary stones, elegant medieval and renaissance doorways, remnants of Civita's long history line its narrow streets. The scene is enlivened by greenery and cats.
