Recreated a project I did in college. No hi-tech tools or tricks. Just a bowl with water, an eye dropper, and lot's of eye-hand coordination practice.
Camera was on a tripod with a cable release. There are better pictures being taken elsewhere of water drops, but I enjoyed the results for such a simple setup.
