Our guide told us this is where the city planner stood to determine how the grid pattern of the city would be laid out.

What's amazing is that this town is situated beneath that volcano!
I wonder what the history of that is (will check wikipedia...)

What's amazing is that pbase is now allowing the originally-uploaded size to display
automtically. This is 1500 x 1624, and the result is that it feels as if we are THERE,
able to view the cars and buses, several streets beyond. The textures of the building
walls are visible - clear and detailed. So, the exposure is not only really good, the
match of your Mac to my Windows laptop (which was calibrated by Microsoft to be accurate
as possible) is perfect.

We look UP, this way, to see that volcano looming over us. So this is terrific.
