Hey Dude, them some good pictures. I sure wish I could see them birds doing that. But I'd rather be fishin... :))

Hi Larry, sure I remember you and your wife. We had a nice chat about photography and lenses. Ghislaine thanks a lot for so many of your comments and kind words. Answer to how close I was to Ospreys. Too close sometimes – as you can see many times they did not fit into the frame so part of the wings were cut off. Patience – no. You just have to live on Osprey's time when being with them. :) They hunt for fish few times a day. Plenty of opportunities. On the other hand I do not remember one single time in my life when I got bored when spending time outdoors and observing nature. All the best, Mark

Mark: This is coming from the guy you met (with my wife) while in Weslaco at the new state park. The pictures of the osprey are great. How much patience does that take? Apparently you were very close at times. How? Thanks for sharing.

Very good. Was the Osprey far away from you? I like those shots at the water level.
