To illustrate what I just mentioned in original post. Here is an example showing that if AWPEs are not close enough or do not act fast enough they practically have very little chance to rob the Osprey later in mid-air; if he could leave freely the water with fish in its talons (held with firm grip). As you can see there is not much time for AWPE to launch the attack on Osprey when he is still in the water; when striking small or medium size fish it can takes 2-3 seconds from strike for Osprey to be airborne. It took AWPE about 6-7 seconds to make decision of the attack - just say goodbye to the fish.
