I study Osprey natural history and behavior. Sometimes I live together with Ospreys on their time. If one has patience many opportunities can arrive.

No need for a concern for someone who knows Ospreys. Osprey nests around the world are often checked during the nesting period for contents without any negative consequences. BTW, if you ever have a chance to be around an Osprey’s nest at a very close distance, you should be more aware about your welfare – parents can dive at you and even strike. The Osprey talons can be very dangerous weapons. Nowadays when many Ospreys are quite habituated and the chance for the parent to attack a human intruder is not so great but it can happen. What is more important to remember is not to expose eggs or chicks to extreme elements (e.g. heat etc) and limit your visit to the minimum in any case.
