It was so much fun to capture these moments with great Ponders! The Koi outsmart not only the Great Blue Heron, but several humans during today's Koi Round-Up as they escape to the safety of their "carports". Taken from the middle size top pond you can see through the cattail on right, Lizzard's Tail just beginning to show its white blooms. The Iris are spent already, but their gorgeous arching reeds are enjoyed throughout the summer.
