Sayer and I discovered this perennial hibiscus in one of a gazillion trips to our favorite nursery.
Williams is a family-owned nursery not far from Herndon. We planted Lord Baltimore near the skimmer of the pond one year and it grew taller than Sayer year after year.
Eventually I dug it up and moved it for fear it might do damage to that area of the pond.
I found another one and planted it near the front porch for passers by to enjoy.
