This Barred Owl came to the yard on a night of drizzling rain. I noticed it when the motion sensored light came on outside. It flew down to the ground and began eating what looked like nightcrawlers from the grass. It would hop a couple of feet with wings open, then stop and eat again. It did this for about five minutes before flying away.
