Colchester.
I am nominally based at Colchester station which overlooks the Colne river (just beyond the tree line in centre forground).
To the left of the picture is the Victorian water tower which dominates the local skyline and is affectionately known as Jumbo.
Colchester is Britain's oldest recorded town and was one of the most important Roman settlements.
The picture was awful but the only one I took today. Added the filter in ON1 Photo Raw which makes it worth keeping.
