Having intended to do this several times and not followed through, here we have Photo a Day challenge for 2018.
My reasons for doing this are varied, as well as challenging me to think more about what photography represents to me it is also something to do with combating depression and pushing myself to express something every day.

Rules I have set myself:
- Pictures can be taken with any camera, including phone
- Pictures must be taken by me
- Pictures must be taken on the day but can be uploaded later
- Pictures must mean (or express) something or reflect what I am doing
- I am not allowed to go to the Zoo every day!!

So, the more observant of you will have noticed that this came to an end in March. Combination of things led me to getting bogged down mentally and I decided to stop the PAD so as not to put too much pressure on myself. I did intend to restart at some point but that is now looking less likely as it s nearly September as I write this. The aim now is probably to try again in 2019 with the aim of at least getting beyond March! Thanks to all that followed and commented.
