A disused 10-arch viaduct near a village called Uplyme in East Devon.
It is said to be the first viaduct built in concrete by someone called 'Concrete Bob' McAlpine.
It is the second highest of this type of bridge in England.
(Axminster & Lyme Regis Railway Association)
Rumour has it that about 15 years ago, it was for sale for the amount of £1 – Close to $2!
The catch – you have to maintain it.
It is still listed by BRB but no indication of whether it is for sale.
Anyone want to buy a viaduct? Make a nice hanging garden, a restaurant, possibly… :-)
