The decorative marble flooring of Siena cathedral
is covered with marble panels depicting scenes from the Old Testament and figures of mythology.
These panels, designed by various artists including Beccafumi, Matteo di Giovanni,
and Pinturicchio, were done between the 14c and the 16c.
