The Idha mosque is located in the west part of the Idkah square. It is a magnificent Islamic building and one of the largest ancient mosques in China.
The Idkha mosque consists of a main building, a school, the courtyard, dome, minarets and the main gate. The architecture is in the Uyghur style and is built using the traditional techniques. According to historical records, it was built in 1442 and has been repaired many times since.
