The Royal Theater Rehabilitation Project is currently redoing the theatre and returning it to its former elegance. This Project is estimated cost $4,500,000. Anticipated project completion is spring, 2024. The rehabilitation work of the Royal Theater includes exterior masonry and stucco repairs, new marquee, replacement of the missing spire, storefront replacement, egress modifications, replacement of interior ornamentation, floor plan alterations including removing the walls/ceilings/raised floors that were added during the 1980s renovations, and new mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems.
