What is now the Rose Theater was built in 1904 as a warehouse and grocery. It became a movie theatre in the 1940's and closed in the late 1950's. The theatre has been refurbished, thanks to a grant from The Fox Theater in Atlanta, repurposed as is now used for live community productions.
