Photo is an animated GIF created from two separate 30 second exposures with an SBIG ST10XME through an AT111 f/7 refractor.
Other than contrast stretching and turning the images into a negative there has been no processing (no darks/flats, etc.).
First photo was taken on October 2, 2010 at 00:48 UT. Second photo was at 01:16 UT.
This comet shows a lot of movement in 28 minutes and there is a hint of a tail pointing in roughly the 2 o'clock direction.
