Here’s another shot from the photo shoot at the “Milk Parlor Ballroom.” (See previous picture.) Lexy, our model went over to a mirror to put on a pair of aviator goggles I had given her and then was to go back to the window seen in the last post for more shots with the goggles on, and a fog machine was waiting for some atmospheric effects. I noticed her fixing the goggles in the mirror and shot an impromptu photo of her reflection. She saw me take a quick shot and then began to play with her hands and facial expressions in the mirror in various creative ways. I got a great series of unexpected shots from her playfulness. I think the mark of a really great model is to feed back and forth off of the photographer. Lexy is a terrific model great fun to shoot with. BTW, the outfit she’s dressed in was made by hand by her. It was a great shoot!
