I thought I’d post some images from some of my recent model shoots. The shoots have been done through my studio, “The Wow Factory.” My partner Steve and I do these shoots just for the fun of it, and the challenge of coming up with new ideas. This photo is from a shoot with this great model Leisa Lexy Long who stopped in to our studio to get a photo done for here real estate office. She is from the Ukraine and is married to a local man here in our hometown. She told us she had done a bit of modeling in the Ukraine. The shoot was in and around a barn not far out of town. The huge barn was filled with antiques and amazing and interesting spaces. This photo is in front of a barn window with the old curtains still hanging there. When Steve and I first saw the inside of the barn we knew we had to set up a shoot there. The barn that is affectionately called “The Milk Parlor Ballroom” and is used for folk dancing parties. A friend from the local university owns the ballroom and curiously another friend that comes to our studio lives in a building on the grounds right behind the barn. The grounds are as exciting as the old barn with lily pad lakes, old trees, footbridges, and gardens and swings abounding. I think there will be many more shoots here. It is a wonderful magic place to take photos.
