An Amish farmer friend of mine held an auction last Saturday to sell his farm and other unneeded items. His name is Noah and he raises camels and sells their milk. He recently purchased another farm in the area because the farm he presently occupies is problematic for his camels. (He has twenty) The fields are too wet for the camels liking. Two weeks ago he called me to come by and photograph one of the camels he decided to sell at the auction. I have photographed at his farm often and was only too glad to take a few pictures. I really had to go see the camel sold at auction and I did manage to take a few shots of the camel being sold. I can honestly say I’ve never seen a camel sold at auction before. I’ll post a photo of the camel being sold soon. BTW: Noah told me he sold that particular camel was because it was a male and is related to his females so he wasn’t going to use him for breeding.
The scene of the children playing is from that auction. They played while the adults were at the auction. This is the front lawn of Noah’s house.
