Inside the abandoned railroad station, (See previous photo for a brief history of this station.) I had set up my camera on a tripod to photograph the old ticket window, when a human figure appeared for a brief moment, looked at me through the window then quickly disappeared when he saw my camera. He turned rapidly then backed up to get out of my picture, but I had already pressed the shutter. The moment was inadvertently captured. I think that the photo has an odd and eerie quality that somehow fits perfectly into the quiet presence of the station, and the long gone thong humanity that had passed through this living space so many years ago. The figure was one of a pair of fellow explorers who happened to climb into the old station after me to have a look around just like me.
