Well, I think it’s time to move on to pictures of Fair week, that is the fully open for fun Bloomsburg Fair. A few words about this event. “The Bloomsburg Fair has been held in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania since 1855.” “It was originally held as an agricultural exhibition. Since then it has grown to be the largest fair in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.” “The fair has a variety of games, foods, shows, and contests. It has its very own Midway and large assortment of carnival rides. The Bloomsburg Fair is also well known for having over 1500 food stands.” Fair attendance in usually in the 500000 range (it can sometimes fluctuate to 600000.)
I will be posting pictures from the Fair including distance diving “Dock Dogs,” Harness Horse Racing, food stands, visitors and all sorts of happy activities. I thought this would be a good time to move to open Fair week photos. I will start in a few days. I will be away taking care of some medical issues and plan to start right in when I return.
