In the Greenhouse

Photos were taken on January 14, 2006, in the greenhouse at Mt. Holyoke College after a slide presentation by award-winning photographer Dr. Norman Halpern on his techniques for taking photos of plants and flowers. Some shots were also added from a return visit on January 29.

Spectacular color! It all looks so vivid and alive. I'll bet they would love to have some of those shots for campus display.

I like your use of lighting; the subject matter does help. It reminds me of the Spring to come. I am glad you had a good time taking the photos!
