The bright red stellar object in the upper galaxy NGC 7769
is a supernova classified as a SN II type designated SN
2019iex. It was discovered in June 2019. SN II type
supernovae result from the core collapse of massive stars.
They leave behind a Neutron star, pulsar, or a black hole.
