2455 teachers from Saskatoon gathered on Thursday, May 5 in a province-wide one-day withdrawl of professional and volunteer services by all 12 000 teachers in Saskatchewan. This is the first time in the history of collective bargaining between the STF (Saskatchewan Teachers Federation) and the province that the teachers have ever withdrawn professional services.
