A hundred years in the Toccoa River and the silt has built small islands around the concrete piers of the bridge. I did not venture out on the little silt islands because we have had several inches of rain this April and the area is known for Copperhead Snakes which love these type locations. If it was cold in the middle of winter I would have gone out to take pictures from the middle of the river.
