For those who don't know, the tallest building in this photo is the Coit Tower, named after Lillian Hitchcock Coit. It's in the shape of a fire hose. Lillian often followed fire fighters to fires. She donated money for new fire equipment. There are historical murals inside, done by W.P.A. artists. There is a fee to take the elevator to the top to see the view.
