As I watched the scene unfold, it appeared that some patrons of an adjacent business
didn't feel comfortable with this man sitting in front of the establishment.
As I listened to the cop talk to the man, it became clear to me that the cop
knew the man and knew he was harmless. But for that split second,
a hand falls into place that can cause the camera to lie.
