Normally one to choose a fine tasty goldfish, occasionally New Blue
has to settle for an ordinary bottom-feeder, the bullhead.

When I see him catch these, he has always taken the bullhead onto
land, and proceeded to stab it with his bill a couple times,
making sure it's dead before dropping it down his mouth. I assume
he is doing this out of awareness of the bullhead having sharp
"stingers" that could injure him. Having caught these fish as a child,
I can attest to their painful infliction.
