I discovered a colony of these wonderful tiny mushrooms growing in a coconut fiber mat at the end of a sidewalk leading to the driveway. I walk over this mat 20 times a day and never saw them till yesterday.
In the image all the woven material is mat and the tallest mushrooms are about 1/2" with little ones down to the size of match heads.
I hung the olympus e-3 upside down on a manfrotto 0550XPro tripod with the Sigman 150mm f:2.8 macro
wireless remote shutter release and 2 second anti-shock delay. I used the articulation live view screen to frame the images because the camera is too low to use the regular viewer.
This is a 10 shot stack processed through Zerene Stacker and sharpened with NIK Output Sharpener.
The results are not show quality but getting better
