The colors of the ferry ship are perfect for snowy environments.
There is something special about being on one of those boats in winter. One of my most vivid travel memories is standing on the ice cold deck of a Silja-Line (not Viking) ferry boat in the middle of the night as the ship was breaking through the frozen Baltic sea between Stockholm and Helsinki. The only thing the floodlights picked up in front of the boat was more ice and some mist above the ice. The sound of ice grinding against the ship's metal hull creates a definite Titanic-feeling.
